    There has been certain testimony or other evidence that the plaintiff has been in possession of the property which is the subject of this lawsuit prior to the commencement of trial. The plaintiff, however, at the time of taking possession, deposited the appraised value of the property with the court and this sum was withdrawn by the defendants.

     The law requires that the plaintiff pay interest on any difference between the amount it has deposited and your verdict, to compensate the defendants for any delay in payment of just compensation. Such interest, if any, will be added by the court.

     Therefore, you are not to consider or include in your verdict any interest, or other compensation for delay.
